Ave Maria and Immokalee, at the inland edge of Collier
Out Immokalee Road and Oil Well Road, about as far from the Gulf as the county goes: the newer streets of Ave Maria and the older neighborhoods of Immokalee, where nearly everyone lives here all year.
ZIP 34142
The lowest wind line in the county
Collier's design wind map bottoms out around 150 mph, and Immokalee sits just above that at 151, with Ave Maria at 153, well under the 163 to 168 of the Naples coast. The county still asks the same of any replacement door: a PRSD permit, a state or NOA approval for the product, and a rated pressure above the opening's. The lower line mostly widens the choice of doors that qualify. A new door is a one-day install once the door is delivered and the permit has been issued. What Collier asks for, step by step.
A long drive, so send a photo first
It's a long way out from Naples, and nobody wants a second trip. Before the visit, text (239) 990-8829 pictures of the door, the springs above it and the model sticker on the motor unit, so the right parts ride along. If a spring has snapped, a matched pair of new springs is about an hour of work once the truck is there. When you call, the arrival window we set takes the drive into account.
New tenant, new codes
Close to half the homes in 34142 are rented, going by Census figures. Between tenants, change what opens the garage: clear the old remotes from the opener's memory and give the keypad a fresh code. Reprogramming remotes and keypads takes 15 to 30 minutes. If the house is yours and you rent it out, tell us who will let us in, and we send the written price to you, the owner.
Called for most here
One number, from the first call to the sign-off
Calls and texts to (239) 990-8829 are answered by a person, day and night. Text us a picture of your door, or of the sticker on your opener, and we'll tell you the likely cause, how long the fix keeps us there and the first opening on the schedule.
